ADF Chaplains engage with their Indonesian counterparts

Indo-Pacific Endeavour (IPE) is Australia’s flagship regional engagement activity that sees the ADF visit 14 countries over a four-month period.

Conducted since 2017, IPE23 directly supports the Government’s commitment to the Defence Strategic Review 2023 to invest in our regional partnerships and work with our neighbours in the region to contribute to the security of the Indo-Pacific.

As well as strengthening our Defence relationships, IPE23 also provides a platform for whole-of-government engagement.

During IPE23, ADF chaplains engaged with their Indonesia Navy counterparts and visiting a local mosque, church and Hindu temple as part of religious outreach and engagement in Indonesia.
