AC Shadows Battle Pass Leaked & It's BAD!

Assassins Creed Shadows battle pass just got leaked and everything in it is now unofficially revealed and Ubisoft has confirmed the leak to be true and have also corrected a few mislead statements about the battle pass in AC Shadows and how it is going to be consumer friendly. But there is more in it than what seems to the eye when it comes to AC Shadows gameplay and how it will result in the microtransaction system in play.

As a gacha player this is hilarious. There’s a supply and demand for stylish, revealing, and hypersexualized/beautified models in games that are worth paying the premium for, especially when the game has monthly content updates. It’s an escape from the ugly and soulless AAA games these days. But AAA takes a whole new low when they try to imitate gacha business models to sell more trash.

Yes, there might be certain things like Helix packs that you'll use microtransactions, but it's not something you have to buy. All you have to do is play more of the game and naturally progress. As it should.

Instead of forcing us to buy tiers in the battlepass or season pass. Now if they do force us to use microtransactions, that'll obviously be bad. But its already been confirmed that's not the case, since it's all free. We should only be mad if it's not free, but it is free so.... take things with a grain of salt.

id say ubisoft middle management knew that their positions and their teams were about to get slaughtered with the release of shadows so they are willing to introduce this concept, as something to point towards in the coming months in an effort to save their jobs when upper management/investors come looking for their heads.

Am actually happy that not everything will be locked behind a transaction you just have to put in a lot of hours in the game which I easily do as my amount of playtime after finishing the newer AC titles was pretty much around 300 to 400hrs

Honestly all i hear from this free playtime based battlepass is just to increase the play time of there games just to appear like they have many players playing there games for so many hours and thats all pointed towards investors not the gamers to fix there stocks and convince them there games are still functioning and doing well

The problem is believing Reddit on ANY leak for ANY Game. Individually I dont agree with Micro Transactions (every game has them regardless of the company/genre) And the fault of Microtransactions ISNT the fault of companies/devs BUT gamers that purchased them either individually or by set. Way back in the day if Gamers hadnt paid for these then they wouldnt be in an game. NOW an Challenge to you individually Blackwoods Why are you "supportive" of either microtransactions/Chains in GTA6 in your commentary but "negative" in creed? LASTLY the Choice of Purchasing ANYTHING is up to the gamer
