after 3 years (bought may 2017) i am still cruisin on my M365, a few tweaks such as completely stripping out the red cable for all black, adding an OLED display to the dashboard, changed the bell from silver to black, changed the handlebar grips, adapting the rear disc assembly to accept the bigger M365 Pro brake disc, strengthening the rear mud flap, adding extra night lights and a convenient bike bag that fits on the 'Y' frame, all is running well...oh yeah, and the upgraded CST Tyres too ... perfect for visiting the local shops, bang for buck the best value for money Electric scooter there is.

Wow, I bought this after about a day of research and am glad I did after finding this review. I love near lots of hills and it’s doing them pretty well so far. Love it!

Great review and coming from an ES4 this is a great scooter. Getting top speed up is reasonably easy and then this becomes an unbeatable product at the price with good build quality, tested design and wide availability of parts online to order. It also has a massive and active user community which is a big plus. If you don't know what to buy, buy the M365 Pro as its the safest purchase out there.

Xiomi is a solid company and being Chinese, they would know how to build electric scooters since they are widely used in Chinese cities. Even their robotic vacuums are some of the best. Like the Xiomi display and thumb throttle - very well integrated. Hopefully, some of the high performance options (Dualtron, etc) will adopt a less clumsy option than there tack on displays and finger throttles.
Nice job on the video, Chuck.

Uscooters Booster V has more range, higher top speed (I GPS rated it at 25 mph), has regen braking, excellent coil suspension, and weighs less (about 25 pounds) than the Xiaomi or Ninebots. Now that the uscooters GT is out (longer deck 20% faster) the Booster V will likely be on sale soon. I picked up the Booster V on sale in February for $900. 10 AH battery with a 700 watt motor. Laughs at steep hills and I'm 200 pounds. I have used it daily in NYC rough pavement and rough weather and its build quality is superior to the ninebot and xiaomi. no contest. Those are not well insulated for rain which is inevitable when you're out riding. I have a broken Xiaomi right now awaiting repair after a single ride in light rain for about 10 seconds. Meanwhile light rain is no problem for the Booster V. Because it's WELL INSULATED. heavy rain is dangerous on a scooter so no point in testing that.

Also a factor why I skipped Xiaomi scooters: Changing the tires are a ROYAL PAIN. It's baffling why they continued this absurd design on the Xiaomi Pro. The Uscooters has a solid rubber tire and wheel that swaps out in 30 seconds flat with one tool. Since it has suspension the ride isnt rough making an air tire for comfort unnecessary. But if you prefer the feel of an air tire you can by a larger "e-twow 8 inch" wheel upgrade kit on Amazon for about $25. I used it for about three months and it was better choice in the rain but I went back to solid tire.

my advice if you need a year round scooter for daily use don't spend less than $900. These companies are cutting corners on durability to get between $500 - $800. Fixing a scooter is a royal pain. hassle of shipping, losing the use of it during repair and if out of Warranty costly.

I don’t understand why you wouldn’t review the latest version... Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter PRO 2

Great scooter - I recently got rid of a Ninebot ES2, which was a real rough ride - that was on a concrete path too! And after updating firmware displayed an error which I could not clear. Segway servicing were not interested in helping me either. The M365 Pro is so much smoother and punchier, and overall a much much better scooter.

It has the same creaking issues as the M365. At first 1-2 months, it seems to have been fixed, but it will develop in time. I think they could have fixed this by installing a rubber or plastic spacer where the folding stem hits and rubs the base, or use a folding base made of steel. For users on paved roads, you won't probably encounter this issue, but when you get into bumpy roads and use this scooter on a daily, it will eventually happen.

The only scooter in the Pro's weight class I know of that might beat the m365 Pro is the recently released E-Twow GT. The GT is priced much higher though.

The odd thing about the pro I have found is this, the tyres are rated for 75 kgs the scooter is rated for 100 kgs but it works fine with someone on it who is way over the limits.

The range is reduced, and the charging takes a long time, but it's still a decent scooter for the price.

Hi, I was looking at the Xiaomi m365 pro for my 13 year old son . I’m having trouble finding it for a good price . I’m finding a lot of sites don’t ship to the US or pricing is at $667. I have 2 questions for you 1. Is the pro right for a 13 year old and 2. is there other places to purchase it .

Hello, can I suggest you to make a review to Kugoo M2 Pro...It's way better than all those scooters ...just to name some features: front/rear shock absorbers, tubeless air filled tires, most beautiful folding mechanism, IPX6 . The mileage is not so great, but it is ok for the most people
