The trope I am currently most tired of is “Magic is Illegal”. I feel like it was really common for a while and got boring.

Love these tier ranking videos!! My fave tropes are probably: 'magic' school, thief with a heart of gold, crew, un-ready royal (only at the start - surprise royal at the end can gtfo here). Least faves are obv surprise royal, not like other girls, prodigy, insta love.

I want a bastard trope. Not necessarily a villain, some are loveable. But he such a bastard. Not the son done without marriage. The hardcore bastard.

Okay, but one of my favorite tropes is when there are literal monsters but they're more "human" than the actual humans in the society. Like the "we're the true monsters" thing. That just gets me every time.
