The midge, chironmid, blind mosquito, lake fly, bay fly, or chizzywink has many different names. However; it has one common trait, it straight catches fish from crappie and bluegill to picky trout. This is a great pattern to use in the winter and in the spring. Fish it like a nymph in a stream or put a strike indicator over it and try it near a rocky bottom on still water.

Very simple and the material list is short:

Fulling Mill Czech Nymph Hook 14 - 20
UTC 70 Rusty Brown
Veevus Iris Copper
3/32 ( 2.4mm) Brass Bead Head
Wapsi Prism Rusty Brown Dubbing
