Answer for 3rd question should be "Feb, Mar, Apr" because by default cell is in General data type and not text type. So when you do it in General, Excel will directly consider as Months (Short form.)

I achieved a LinkedIn badge being in the Top 5%. Thanks. This was my 2nd attempt. After failing in the first attempt, I completed the first two courses of the 'Excel Skills for Business' specialization from Coursera. Those two courses and this video were the keys to the dead-lock. I am looking forward to completing the rest of the two courses of that specialization. Learning Excel is fun for sure if you are self-motivated.

Making the top 5% in that quiz I just took made me happier than any good grade I've gotten in grad school. Thank you!!

On question 13 the answer should be =SUM(A2, A6) because the value returned is different from all the others. Say each cell had a value of 2 between A2 and A6. A2+A3+A4+A5+A6 will return a value of 10. =Sum(A2:A6) will also add all of these together and return 10. =Sum(A2, A6) will return A2+A6 and give you a value of 4 rather than 10 like all the others. At least thats my understanding

Also for question 12 I guess there is also a catch : they ask you to DISPLAY 7.9. So hitting the decimal button twice is the only right answer, as ROUND changes the value of the cell.

There are 2 typos in the video - below are the correct answers
For question 13, the correct answer is ( SUM(A3, A6)) - (Thanks Chuma Igweani for keeping me honest)
Answer for 3rd question should be "Feb, Mar, Apr". (Thanks Saurabh Bade and J T for bringing it up).

Please make sure to use the correct answers if you get these questions. All the best on Excel Interview and Assessment test!

I watched this and similar videos most of this morning even took some notes. Then I took the test. Questions were completely different. and I failed it big time. Now I have to wait at least six months to take quiz again. there must be a better way to prepare.

I feel like 10 was 1 input. Goal Seek has 3 inputs, but one is the result variable, one is the result value, and the last is the variable being changed. Goal Seek is limited to changing 1 input to find a result, whereas Solver would allow you to vary multiple inputs.

Answer to Q.11 - Show in Tabular form or show in outliner form

I think the Answer for the QUESTION-14 would be "B" because if you choose "A. MMM-YYYY", the dates would display only the first 3 letters of the month. Eg: Dec-2020. However, if you choose "MMMM-YYYY", it would display the whole month. Eg: December-2020.
And I guess the answer for the QUESTION-15 is OFFSET because the question asked for "specified distance from a base cell"

Question 12 doesn't have 2 right answers.
The keyword in the question is DISPLAY. Using the Round function changes the value itself, not just the display of it.

An explanation of Q11 would have been great, I finally found the answer here, Tubular and outline, however, I love the way you teach and this didn’t help in this case. Thanks for what you do!
