Fun fact: I actually live in Laayoune, located in this Western Sahara region. I can confirm there's absolutely no signs of independence here, it's as Moroccan as Rabat and Agadir are.

Western sahara is truly a very complicated matter.. i live in it and the major problem is that morocco and spain had very different meaning to what a sahara means.. morocco considers the cities of terfaya and boujdour as sahraoui and they should vote while the SADR knows those two cities will go fo morocco so the SADR wants only one city to vote.. morocco refused that and tbh it makes sense.. either the three sahraoui cities vote or none.. and as a sahraoui i say WS is morocco.
