Cessna 172 crashes at Newport News-Williamsburg International Airport

A small plane crashed at Newport News-Williamsburg International Airport Thursday afternoon. According to an airport spokesperson, a Cessna 172 crashed into the woods during take-off shortly before 3:30 p.m. Three people on board the aircraft were taken to local hospitals, although the extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
