Love the couch... I feel 8 years old again... the nerd in me needs to tell you that the Kirkland name comes from the location of Costco's original headquarters in Kirkland, Washington

I feel like "Name brands" have gotten away with coasting on their image for so long and cutting so many corners that off brands are in most cases superior as they've had to compete on price and quality the whole time.

I finally know where my grandmother's living room furniture ended up.

Needs to be mandatory: Matt's Double Point Double Down Lock of the Game. You have to double down once and if you don't use it, it has to be used on the last item.

Matt: "I've never seen a raisin tree."
Grape vines: "I mean we aren't trees, so he's technically correct."

The couch, the giant old TV in the corner, the crocheted blanket over the couch, and the wood paneling. I feel like I'm back in the '80s growing up and reliving what my living room look like. This is some serious nostalgia.

That Davenport “as my grandma would say” in the background is bringing back so many memories! That print is iconic!! Plus the throw blanket!

Internally screaming, "Water! Give that man something to drink before he chokes on those dry snacks!"

Matt has learned the secret: Get the KS version of food at Costco, if available. Now do yourself a favor and try the ice cream bars - bigger, and cheaper than Haagen Dazs and at least as good as I remember those pricey things to be.

I lived there for a year or so and shopped at the Kirkland Costco location. Parking was hell, but their 'cafe' was outside, so you could just go get a Costco dog & iced coffee without having to go inside.

Matt: "What is Kirkland? Who is Kirkland?"
Drax: "Why is Kirkland!"

I've heard folks praise how good the Kirkland brand is and Matt just confirmed they were telling no tales. We have a Costco here in Huntsville and I need to check them out.

Hootin’ and Hollerin’ is hilarious. Mustard on My Hamstrings almost made me wreck my car.

Hi Matt, former West Texan turned Seattlite here. Kirkland is a town here in WA close to Seattle, just north east, where Costco started.
Washingtonians love their Costco as much as Texans love their HEB.
If only we could get Bluebell there ...

Kirkland Signature is in a category I like to call “Premium Store Brand”. It’s one of, if not the only store brand I’ve come across that is truly as good if not better than what it is trying to copy.

No Costco nearby, but I'm still here because Matt makes me laugh and I could use some laughter in my life.
