This is a very important subject. Urinary system is our main way of eliminating waste products from our bodies. It consists of two parts: kidneys and ureters. Kidneys are located behind your ribs. They filter blood and remove excess water, salt, minerals, and toxins. Ureters carry urine from the kidneys to bladder through tubes called ureters. Bladder stores urine until we have time to go to bathroom. When we pee, urine flows into the urethra which empties into the outside of the body. The urethra is part of the reproductive tract.
