EXTREME DIY Small Bathroom Makeover (Renter-Friendly Tips!)

I loved leaning into a pink and green palette for this transformation and I hope this gives you lots of renter-friendly tips for your own small bathroom.

Dear Alexandra, I am so in love with your program. First of all I am 76 years old and a grandma and great grandma and so you must know that your program appeals to my age group or at least to an artist grandma. As I am watching each time it feels like I am being invited to your studio or family or special friends group and that is down to your amazing, joyful personality! Also agreeing with the lady comment just before mine - every week Graham looks better and better! His gentle and slightly humorous personality plus how hard he works, like he can make anything, tells me someday if he chooses to have a partner, she will be very happy! The only thing I'm concerned about is how wallpaper and other wooden decor would fair in a high humidity zone like a bathroom. I hope the type of wallpaper you got is water-proof, or at least can handle moisture. Same with the wooden outlet decor, since it looks like it's not properly coated to protect from splash damage.

I don’t know how you do it every time! I just did a refresh on my bathroom and I love it but there’s always something not quite right. I think I need Carla to film my bathroom for added wow factor lol! She doesn’t get enough credit, I didn’t realize how hard capturing the essence of a space is, especially a small one!

FYI for people whose main source of heat is a radiator: you have to use special paint or you will be WASTING A LOT OF MONEY because the paint won't allow the heat to disperse as effectively.

Looks great! A sweet shower curtain hack to make it look/feel even more luxe is to get two shower curtains and drape them on either side like you would window curtains. looks great open and closed.

The ONLY thing I would change is spray painting that towel bar gold instead of black, otherwise, so adorable! Definitely not in my house with only boys but... loving the floral wallpaper!

Table lamp for the bathroom. Sorry no movement, my mom has done it for years. She switches them out at Christmas and places small Christmas trees in the bathroom. Always give a cozy vibe and when you have company you just leave them on and there is no glaring light announcing where the bathroom is. Love your tips and tricks. I start my Saturday watching with DIY Dannie, move to the DIY Huntress and finish with you Alexandra. I'm gathering ideas for my laundry/main bathroom in my house remodel. Too big of a project to tackle myself but for sure going to integrate some of your ideas.
