Invaders Must Die-From Vandaley Perspective, you are in the invader who must die, pretty obvious

Intruder-Chais perspective, he and his team are the Intruder, crashing in with the intent of taking down Kale with an all out attack against Vandaley

I don't even care that this is obviously supposed to be the streamer mode version of Invaders Must Die, the lower-key melody makes this an absolute vibe for me, and I already listened to this while sleeping way more often than the licensed version.

I remember when I first heard those first few notes of Intruders Must Die I was so excited, quickly realizing what it song it was (used to play it before the Colorado Avalanche hockey games ... always got a laugh out of that), but was like "oh man this won't exist in Streamer Mode".

However, after hearing this I quickly changed my stance on that, as they did an AWESOME job replacing it. I am excited to try this song out in streamer mode

It's curious how much doom was a theme in Rockefort's chapter, the prelude before the cannon segment, the license song having "die" in the name, plus the time for the alternative original song being marked at 4:44 minutes, and the boss himself being an *immortal* werewolf.

Nailing the power of Invaders Must Die without straight up covering it seems like a herculean task, and I don't fault these guys for apparently not hitting the same high. But! Taken as it's own? This is still a fantastic track and arguably just has to deal with a genre the band doesn't seem as suited for. The whole tracklist is stellar top to bottom, and even if this is a sore spot it's *purely* because of how unparalleled the original track is. Still excellent.
