And this opinion from an outrageously wealthy man who has never had to worry about paying the bills and keeping food on the table nor stressing over whether his employment will be permanent at the end of the month.
Clearly he has never had to tend to a household of sick children and a selfish partner whilst feeling so emotionally drained and ill that having five minutes alone would feel like a miraculous holiday. The Pontiff may spout his opinions from his ivory tower... but life experience is truly the best and most pragmatic teacher.

Even if you were to ban pet ownership that still won't push people to have more kids. A pet's necessities are quite minimal compared to a human child. If couples wanted to most could easily care for both. Shaming won't overcome today's economic realities that has everyone stretched too thin to think of raising kids.

Not everyone is fit to be a parent. If someone is emotionally unstable and chooses a pet as a companion then to raise a child, seems perfectly fine to me. I’m sick and tired of people trying to decide what we should do with our lives! Conceiving and having a child is a major responsibility it’s a commitment. As a parent you will raise your child accordingly to your mental health. Imagine popping kids left and right just because it’s a holy thing todo ? The world would be more fuxxed up as it is.
Also, to raise a child you need income, housing, jobs. Kids are expensive
Pets aren’t. We are living among our needs.
God knows what goes behind the scenes with this man !
