Its easy to overlook how much work it takes to even get to the point that this advice would be useful

I've been playing for 6 months, and at some point i got stuck on a poor sound.

I didn't know why until I decided to film myself, finding out I wasn't even able to keep my bow straight.

I've been this week trying to solve it by staring at mirror while playing and making sure the bow goes straight parallel to the bridge.

It literally feels like starting over again, but I'm making progress fast and after 5 days I turned back to the 2-months skill (with parallelism problem almost fixed). 🎻✨️

I’m not sure I would say simplicity is necessary as much as efficiency. There’s really not much that’s simple about playing a string instrument.
