The Discoverer A/T3 utilizes a balanced combination of technology, compounding and design to produce a tire that will perform well in nearly all types of terrains. These tires are awesome. I've had them for 6 months, they've done everything from mud, snow, ice, and heavy rain. They look great cleaned up, that tread pattern is sexy.

These tires are on a 06 Chevy Trailblazer lt. I purchased them because I didn't want to switch to winter tires. I have to say these tires are awesome!! I have been through 12+ inches of snow and ice 4-6 inches of mud, water and these tires didn't let me down! The tires hooked up and never missed a beat. These are the best tires I have ever owned. I will be looking to buy another set for my Grand Cherokee Limited and I highly recommend these tires to anyone.

I just went from the BFGoodrich all-terrain TA's to the Cooper ATPs. I own an F1 50, and when I had bought the BFGoodrich tires I was ecstatic with them. I loved them. However for the price, just like the gentleman below me said in his comments they pick up everything. They do have some really nice features like the triple ply sidewalls, however I have had the Cooper ATPs for a few days now and the ride is completely different. I was a little unsure of the Cooper tires, and must admit that I had told myself along time ago that I would never put anything on my truck except another BFG. But like I said, for the price I will take the Cooper tires any day. Had the tire shop I went to prorate my BFGoodrich tires and ended up walking out the door with a set of Cooper ATPs for just about 600 bucks. My BFGoodrich were almost 1300... I have not had the opportunity to test my new tires on dirt or in water yet however the ride is so much nicer. I will always miss my BFGoodrich, but feel like I made a very nice investment with Cooper ATP even though they are slightly less aggressive than the BFGoodrich and as far as functionality, I will get back to you guys.

COOPER AT3's ALL THE I take my stock 96 Jeep Cherokee to our local off road park, Dirty Turtle and I havent met any terrain yet that would defeat those tires, except big slick rocks or extreme inclines.

I bought the AT3's for my cherokee only because of the price $150 a tire installed. I put 235-75-15's on it, and I must say the handling of this tire in an emergency situation is crazy responsive, They actually make my jeep sit almost 1.5" inches higher and actually rub my LCA's a tad at full lock, my BFG AT's were terrible in snow, mud, and gravel and LOUD AS FUCK! The AT3's actually did outstanding in extreme terrain at Dirty Turtle Off Road Park so good I bought a extra set GOOD

Thinking about throwing these on my Jeep but I'm wondering how it handles traction in sand? (I'm in the desert)

Just make sure you go with the heavy duty AT3 and not your standard SUV tire.

Keep your silicone tires, I want a tire to last.. Those extra slices make the tread squirm which means the tire handles worse and tire wears out faster.

Correction. Best MARKETED AT tire. Had them before. A good tire. Worth damn near 2X the money? Not even. For the record, my no name brand Artic Claw Xsi studless snow tires smoked my BFG's when I lived in Colorado for WAY less money. I like BFG's but they are not worth the price they are asking.
