2:30 I think the hook for the sling straps might be better if they were offset, rather than coming directly off the lift arm. This would reduce the chance of the straps running over the hands. Not sure if it only looks like that might happen from the angle the video is taken from though.

Tom Horyna, you do not put on brakes in use as it needs to adjust for the person's weight . put on only when not in use

For training, they take super easy resident. In real practice it’s not that easy manual handling. If possible Next time, please take resident who is resistive to care and doesn’t cooperate. That will be helpful. Thanks

What about applying the breaks to the stand up lifter before assisting with standing and sitting?

I heard a good tip. Take the chair to the lifter, not the lifter to the chair. Makes sense.

Brakes on and off few times in this manoeuvre, but missing, dont follow
