I know and doubt that anyone will ever see this, but for who does, don’t pity me. I’m still relatively young, in my early teens. I just got into F1, and I know it’s something I love and enjoy. I have known from the second I first watched a race on ESPN. I have the F1 23 game on my PS4, but I don’t have any PCs or any racing sims, I only have my controller. I also live in an area where I only have a quarter mile oval stock car track five minutes from my house. Yes, I enjoy watching stock car racing, but it’s not something I would do. If I had a choice, I would go into open wheel racing. Not to mention, money is a little tight. I can even get a go-kart. So I’ve given up on making it into F1. Especially with my gender. I still dream on, but I know and doubt I’ll ever be able to get behind the wheel of one. I still watch and enjoy watching the races, but it hurts a bit. It hurts to know that I’ll never be able to do it. But that’s just life, I guess.
