Lyrics
At times I've seen you from the armyard
At times I've seen you from the flagstones
At times I've seen you from the balustrade
At times I've seen you from the flagstones
And you can't cajole [x3]
And can't cajole
At times I've seen you from the aureole
At times I've seen you from the flagstones
(Like another goalstone)
(You may cajole)
And you may cajole [x3]
(You may cajole)
And you may cajole [x3]
(You may cajole)
And you may cajole [x3]
And make a joke
At times I've seen you from the balustrade
At times I've seen you from the flagstones
At times I've seen you from the balustrade

Elizabeth was really courageous. She wasn't afraid to experiment with her voice onstage. She wasn't concerned if people were into what she was doing or not.

Cool she's singing in a lower register. she can do it all. how she replicates that vocal tickle is beyond me. they are so creative and lovely

I'm 49 and as of 2 months ago have become a huge fan. I have heard of the cocteau twins for many years. The name was always in the same category as all the other bands I listened to and 2 months ago I hear Heaven or Las Vegas. They're all I've listened to the past two months. Had no idea they date back to 84 tho. Damn!!! Anyways, love

That quick low tone vibrato she was doing at the end of some of the verses was tripping me out. What a wild and fresh concept for even today 40 years later!

Like a bird singing…so primal. That must have what hook for me as a kid, that back register, throat singing, hitting different frequencies… Robin driving harmonics…

THIS IS MY YOUTH❤❤❤❤❤❤❤It was here in this time that I heard of Cocteau Twins for the first time and I think it was in the John Peel radio show; Once a week in the evening here in Holland.
This music is so outstanding👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 17 years old then and I still get goosebumps now listening. They hit you right in the heart and soul. BEAUTIFUL👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

It was nice to follow their musical development from Garlands to Milk and Kisses.

Exceptionally brilliant. Post Will Heggie and pre Simon Raymonde. Just the two of them and a drum machine. Marvellous. Incredible that they performed those songs live . Nearly 40 years later I still love them.

Liz looks like she went to the same hair salon as Diana Spencer. Margaret Thatcher always said pearls never fail on a woman. One cannot fault the music, 'tho. Always brilliant. 👏

Ahh! The 80's! When Robert Smith and Princess Di were still a duo...
