Today, we preached the Gospel in Langenhovenpark, focusing on the story of Blind Bartimaeus from Mark 10:46-52. Bartimaeus was a blind man sitting by the roadside who had heard that Jesus was coming by. Even though he couldn’t see Jesus, he believed in His power to heal. Bartimaeus cried out, 'Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!' And even when people told him to be quiet, he didn’t stop. His faith got Jesus’ attention, and Jesus healed him, restoring his sight.

We shared this message because it’s a reminder that no matter where you are in life, if you call out to Jesus in faith, He will hear you. Just like Bartimaeus, you don’t have to see everything clearly to trust that Jesus can change your situation. The wind may have been strong during our message, but it couldn’t stop the truth of God’s love and power from going out. If you’re feeling lost or struggling, Jesus is passing by and wants to heal your heart, open your eyes, and give you hope.

All you need to do is call out to Him—He’s waiting for you.
