Today, I answer the age old question. Is the 2022 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R worth it? This is totally from a beginner’s point of view, and will circle back on this as I become an experienced rider. Just a disclaimer, I only have about 300 miles on my 636, and I wanted to give you my raw opinion on this while I’m still learning what the bike has to offer.

My first bike was (and still is) ZX14R. I'm not saying that's the best way to start, but if you really love the bike, you can take your time and slowly grow to it. First kilometers, I was devastated how difficult it was to do anything but over time and milage it got better, now I ride it no problem. Bikes should be there for fun.

Got the 2022zx6r for my first bike.. never rode before. It’s a lot of bike. I put the full akropovic exhaust and KnN air filter. That made the power much more even. I’m having Moore Mafia do the dyno tune for me. It wheelies in first second and third. I’ve almost out grown this bike already. Zx10 on the way. Ride through oyster bay Milneck and Bayville. It’s perfect for the 636. Ride safe and have fun!

As a new rider(1 season) 06 zx6r, 100% worth it. I'm 36, 6'1, 200lbs Learning a bit slower, but after riding a few 250cc -300cc bikes definitely think I made the right choice.

I like your outro’s pretty awesome. I passed my permit test last week on the third try last Friday and I’m going to do the MSF course in like a week or two but I decided for my first bike I’m going to get a GSX-R750

I do three on the clutch and two on the brake, mostly because my levers and non-adjustable and long. Ideally, I’d want 2 on clutch, 1 on brake.

I agree, tons or learning and forgiveness when riding on lower cc bikes (400 and lower). Still loving my MT03, but definitely like to upgrade next riding season.

As a new rider, get what you want, everyone has their opinion. Just be responsible. That mode 2 just dulls the power and allows you to be less smooth with the throttle without the consequences. Enjoy your ride, love 636’s! I will say most people are not as responsible once they start getting comfortable as a new rider.

Love how you describe everything and the reasons, I’m considering getting the newest 2024 ZX-6R for my first bike (I took the MSF Course) and know that I can be patient with learning etc.. I’m 5’6 (closer to 5’7) do you have tip toe on the bike (at stops, etc?)

That 636 keeps up with my 750 pretty good, I think they are great bikes. I just have a love for Suzuki.

I'm looking at a zx6r. I also am considering a ninja 650. I think I would love both bikes, but end up liking the zx6r more. I can flat foot the 650, but tip toe the zx6r. Everyone keeps saying not to start on a 600 super sport, but I think I'd be fine. I have put 4, 500 miles on my grom without laying it down. haha

I'm going to make my choice in 3 weeks, Ninja 400 or 636. (5'10" / 135lb) I'll be 38 in a month. I have owned a small dirt bike as a teen and rode on a large dirt bike maybe 12 years ago. I have no concerns on the controls. I plan on sitting on the 636 next week, the 400 feels good. If I can feel ok on the 636, I'm getting that one.. I'm pretty sure the 2 my local dealer has are the non abs models. think I'd rather have it like you said, but with the traction control, maybe be ok.. Think I've watched all of you videos, keep it up!
