The game wasn't lost after the 3rd goal, it was lost after the 1st! Every Dale player on the pitch seemed to tense up after that moment and York sensed it. The lack of belief from the squad and the supporters was really telling - I've never heard the Sandy Lane so quiet!

If you get what you pay for why can't we beat teams like Ebbsfleet and Maidenhead?

Boston supporter here in peace…this guy is so deluded. He can’t use budgets or schedules as an excuse. Our visit to your place was the 3rd of four straight away games (Yeovil, Braintree, You & Hartlepool) and we’re still part time. He can’t seem to accept being beaten fair & square…with us it was spoiling tactics and with York it’s “you get what you pay for” I genuinely wish you all the best for the season and hope you get to Wembley etc ✌🏻

We’ve won 4 in 13 league games. How do you expect us to “support” you anymore than that. We have a good away following and at home you are giving us little to nothing to show us football worth getting excited about. Going watching Dale every week genuinely feels like working a dead end job. Except we are paying to go 😂

York fan in peace. He’s so deluded seriously. Majority of the summer signings were frees £0. Dale were genuinely one of the worst teams we’ve played this season. Your fans deserve better

McNulty and York manager Hinshelwood were team mates at Brighton.

York are a good side no doubt hardworking move the ball quickly and work hard out of possession to win it back. Dale did start well we played some good stuff for 10-15 mins and again he admits We aren't clinical enough when we do get chances I feel his patience is running thin with Mitchell. We have no fire power up front nobody who can win a header hold up the ball or make a decent run and it highlights what a difference Jay Bird made to us and how much We will now miss him. Also totally out of character last night Waller had someone else's boots on his kicking was awful and put us under pressure all the time. The fans didn't help last night either We didn't sing one song in the sandy last night a real nervous atmosphere which must roll onto the pitch I fear unless We get a striker in we will miss out on any playoff hope.

It doesn’t help when you gift a good team 2 goals! Fannying about at the back will cost you 10 goals a season, there was another one tonight!
York play the same way, but are better at it, also better at pressing and better at finishing, that’s why they are 2nd in the league!
I don’t think 3 at the back helps us, it ends up 5 at the back which leaves us short further forward and the wing backs get caught in no man’s land!

Spennymoor will come to the COA with all guns blazing expecting to go to Wembley sadly, I can't say the same for Dale based on Boston, Maidenhead and York !

And what about our budget against Ebbsfleet and Maidenhead? Didn't hear you mention that Jim 🤔

For this level you of football York were excellent on the night, they Would have beaten the vast majority of teams playing at that tempo with the clinical finishing.

Too nice to be a manager. No passion on the touchline, every manager we see are up for it even at 4-0. This kind of football will never work in the lower leagues. Need a fighter in the team, a Gary Jones, Shaun Reid type of midfielder who will harry and chase everything. End of season clear out starting with the manager.

Woe is me. Bit of a limp interview where the fighting spirit? In that dressing room we need to galvanize and empower these young players with rhetoric evoking some viking like passion . Jimmys tone is all strife, struggle, punching above our weight, under 14's playing in the 16's division. Too many fixtures, too cold, the players needing a cuddle. Bobbly pitches, players asked to do too much like going out to get some more teabags for the dressing room, get in there Jim in the style of - ' every ounce of sweat we pour into this game. Let the opposition know that when we step onto that pitch we stand as one, resolute and determined, for we will never surrender until that feckin final whistle!"

If we beat Spennymoor and go to Wembley and get in the play-offs its still a successful season. Jimmy needs to sort it out otherwise neither of them will happen

Why does he always blame something else and never his clueless management if it’s all about having better players why don’t we win every game against teams near bottom of league when we have better players, East was injured around 60 mins but kept him on why, Bird was limping last week but he kept him on, Maybe play better attacking football and crowd might be more forgiving

York haven’t spent as much as people think this season the difference is better owners better management team than we’ve had before

You have to spend to develop.... and if you don't develop you don't win... It can take decades to get out of the national league...if you don't invest.
