In Part 2 of the ratio series we are going to be covering finding missing quantities in ratios. I will show you two methods: one simple, scaling up method; and one algebraic method. If you are going for one of the higher GCSE grades, I strongly recommend you to watch even if you already know the scaling up method. Most schools no longer teach the algebraic method, but it was tested towards the back of an Edexcel Paper in 2019! If you're not going for one of the higher levels and ratio isn't your strong point, it's fine to just learn the scaling up method.
You will need paper, a pen and possibly a calculator for the harder questions.
