Watch my newest minecraft clock with pistons!

The clock took about 0,133 Months to make(I made it in April).

The clock is built up in the same way as my last clock, but i added hours and minutes. I also added buttons to edit the time, and a reset button to reset the clock. The reset button is a little bit laggy, didn't bother timing the readstone delay on the reset function...

The video was recorded in Fraps, "tilt-shift" effect was rendered in "blender 2.49b", final video output was rendered in "Vegas Pro 10".

@BoyzTutorial I made the "tilt-shift" effects in Blender 3D(a free 3D program), the effect is done by creating a fake and oversized dept of field layer, you need to increase the contrast of the colors also. The video should be as orthographic as possible to make the "tilt-shift" effect as real as possible...

At first I though "animated" but then I realized that it was like a million redstone torches really far away! Great job!

@Kilonoid (Correct me if I'm wrong) My gaming computer has a i7-2600K CPU. With has logical gates in it, running at a speed of and has an instruction rate of IPS (instructions per second). Compared to my minecraft clock, which has about 1500 logical gates, a speed of 2Hz, and an instructional rate of about 32 IPS. My CPU is times bigger than my minecraft clock. (Japan's "K Computer" does IPS)
That is unreal...

@vfpprogrammer145 I do like games, and I do like computer programming and computer logic. So minecraft does have these two things In a game. And since logic gates fascinates me, it wasn't hard to come up with the idea of making a clock.

I'm attempting to build a clock like this... I'm impressed for the fact of how well you fine tuned the clock to eliminate the random numbers and miscellaneous displays in between the numbers you want.

you can make the tilt shift effect in blender 3D(a free 3D program)...

This is unreal... I can't believe people are that intelligent to make something so complex and useful... how do their minds not explode?

It is redstone torches, and the other things is regular torches. The regular torches is put in the spots where the torches didn't need to be dark at any time. It at least seems like it because for a year ago, we didn't have redstone lamps, and a piston block-changer would require too much space and delay the signal even more. Though I'm pretty sure the pistons weren't included in the game yet, except the mod.

ill never understand how people make actual COMPUTERS using redstone. like, the fact that you can transfer real life concepts into minecraft when there's so little stuff to work with (especially when this was made) and it actually works is insane to me.

I doesn't matter to me, whatever we're doing, I enjoy every minute of it, so it wouldn't be wasting time if you're doing something you enjoy.

this won the machinima top 5 creations of minecraft with redstone! GJ

You would probably like the Little Blocks mod, It lets you get 16x16x16 blocks of potential circuitry into a single block, and you can link them, and specify what side is powered if a "micro" block is next to a "macro" one.
I think Captainsparklez made a video about it now.

That was great, better than my clock, I didn't bother to add seconds, and the recorded version doesen't have a control panel (I made one off camera though, to add 10 hours, 1 hour and 10 minutes)

Anyway, great job man, I might add an alarm to my clock ;)
