I love the idea of thinking about curiosity as something that can be trained.
Amazing hype building skills, great editing and a very interesting project.
Can't wait to see more! :)

Curiosity is what made me study science. As a young child I was v bad at concentrating, and didn't get good grades at school, thankfully grades improved eventually! I always loved science but thought I wasn't good enough to be a scientist, until I spoke to an actual scientist at careers day, and she changed my outlook completely. She asked me a simple question: do you like asking questions? And she showed me that actually, all you need to be a good scientist is to ask questions-to be curious. Thats it. and she was SO right.

Hi everyone!
I hope you enjoyed this behind the scenes sneak peek of a project I've been working on over the summer. I'd love to know *what curiosity means to you?*
I found that I was a Cautious Innovator and a Go-Getter on their curiosity test, depending on whether I replied as a PhD student or a Science communicator ;)

I found the topic and interviews very interesting, especially the multicultural blend of guests, and the settings and photography were also attractive. A lot of time and effort has obviously gone into the making of it. I also spent quite a bit of time on the site, where I was pleasantly surprised to find how much there was to pique the interest. Congratulations to everyone involved.

Very interesting video.. again!

I always want to make compliments about your hair. But I feel like this environment is not for that. Instead, I am curious: Why does your hair look so full and thick even after it is braided? Most long haired people I know also sometimes wear their hair in braids and it looks usually half as thick. So what I am actually asking - hair. People need to know more about hair in general. Me for example, I wear a long-ish beard and have always asked myself, how come that hair is so much different to the hair right next to it on top of my head. Where does the beard begin, where does the head hair start.
I have so many questions about hair - not about it's structure in general, but why it is so different all around the human body.

And now: You got impressively awesome hair! ^_^

I think I'm mostly inquisitive. The amount of scientific articles I have open on my browser at any one time could be considered insane.

Can hair be farmed? Can water be clothing? Can bushes be heard? Can mermaids play the lottery? Can Richard Branson do a Backflip over 3 crates of Carlsberg, tune in next week to find out!

Look, don't disable ratings just cause of TF. I've looked at your other stuff and its actually doing quite well considering the size of your channel vs the size of his. This will blow over. It always does, and people do not take him anywhere near as seriously as they used to.
I mean he's got more than an order of magnitude more subscribers and *even on his own video, his venue, his people* he's got like a 50 percent like to dislike ratio.

In short, all of YT bristles at comments and ratings being disabled, and I don't think there's really a reason for it.

Can hair be farmed?
Unfortunately, I've always been so enchanted with the way she speaks that I often lose focus regarding the actual content of her videos. What is it? Her enticing rhythm? Her captivating speedy delivery of words? Her tone and timbre?

what curiosity means to you?
for me it means relief, I have so much adversity and stress with restricted agency, being curious allows my mind to have a break, time to play and explore. :)

To me if a person is described as "curious" it means they are unusual or strange. If I wanted to say someone had a lot of curiosity I'd say they where inquisitive. To me curiosity is the desire to know more about anything and/or everything, whether that be deep things, like "why is there gravity"; to the mundane, like "what does calamari taste like"; to the absurd, like "what would a dinosaur egg taste like".

On beginning to take the test I find myself curious if that site has any accessibility to the 'disabled' at all. I'm not that sort of disabled (just some mental health issues), but my experience does make me wonder. It sure doesn't seem to be allowing typing in the first three fields, nope, got to scroll down to the matching answer. Yes, it's all very swish, but that appears to be getting in the way of usability.

I think that we are naturally curious, just observe babies discovering their world, some people can lose their natural curiosity but fortunately that has not happened to me. As it will be latent in the brain I assume that it can be stimulated under the right conditions.
