If you watched Hyman after his return to the Leafs last year it was almost unfair to talk about the Leafs Top 4 Forwards, he was good enough, smart enough, skilled enough to have been in that grouping. It was a Top 5 that's now back to being a Top 4. Hyman is going to rock in Edmonton. A great acquisition by the Oilers that gives them offensive depth and oh yah he can kill penalties too.

The Leafs lost him because Dubas mismanaged the budget by paying way too much for four guys, and leaving nothing much for the rest. This is completely on DUBAS. Same for Anderson (like hime, or not).

Dubas should trade Marner for Hyman for playoffs purposes lol, Marner can be injured more often than Hyman, also good signing for Edmonton for long term and trade bait when needed

This is exactly what everyone outside of Toronto was saying about Dubas and his huge contracts for the 4. It’s gonna bite him in the ass and after multiple disappointing seasons in the playoffs; he already has screwed up his “win now” view and doesn’t have the money to sign good players or retain player the Leafs need. Still get a laugh over all the idiots that thought Big Joe was gonna change everything and not allow the Leafs to get pushed around.
