I was fortunate enough to watch Pride 7 & 8 live. It was a well run event. I’m shocked that Kazushi Sakuraba’s name was not mentioned once during this video. He was the face of Pride in the late 90’s early 2000’s.

They actually screened some Pride fights on saturday or sunday mornings here in Brazil.

I remember waking up early sometimes, turning on the tv and watching guys beat the shit out of each other.

Great times.
