Remember, this new test adds 1000 more pounds. So this test involves a little over 2 tons going at 37mph, causing that damage. It's great to consider the significantly higher chances of get into an accident with larger vehicles now more than ever.

Rear passenger should have side airbag. You can see clearly the impact mark on the door panel with the rear passanger arm.

What this is telling us from the marginal rating is that the vehicle fared fairly well for this scenario. Because this car was not designed for this test. In my opinion that means Honda went A step above as numerous competitors got a poor rating
