2013 USA Diving Spring Junior Region 2 Championships; 3-Meter 105C Forward 2-1/2 Somersault Tuck

With this dive, Jennifer Bell qualified for the upcoming 2013 USA Diving East National Championships at Purdue University on the three-meter springboard. (She will compete to qualify on the one-meter springboard on Sunday, March 10.) This was her final dive of the day and she needed to nail the dive to assure a finish among the top 6 divers of the 24 who were competing to qualify for East Nationals. She performed a 105C (Forward 2-1/2 Somersault Tuck) with a degree of difficulty of 2.20. She earned judges' scores of 7, 6.5, 6.5, 6.5, and 6.5. After discarding the high and low scores, she received a net total of 19.50 points which, when multiplied by the degree of difficulty, achieved an award of 42.90 points. With that dive, she finished the event with 233.15 points and ended solidly in fifth place. The top six divers qualified for 2013 East National Championships at Purdue University. This will be Jennifer's second straight year competing at the USA Diving East Nationals.
