This is as close to an anthem of planet Earth as we can get.

"Greetings to the friends in the stars .. may time brings us together "

Damn, I cried thinking how vast the universe is and how small we are, so small that it will take us thousands of years to even reach the nearest star .

Thinking that all the wars, crimes, cries and laughs, happened on a tiny rock drifting in the universe

"May time bring us together" is such a powerful line.

GOD, the second the kid first said hello I started crying and laughing, it is just something about the idea of the human race as a whole sending a message out to an endless space with greetings, wishes, and music. Just screaming out hello into the universe. Truly makes all my personal struggles seem small when compared to the representation of the entire human race being frantically sent soaring through the cosmos.

The Child saying “Hello from the Children of Planet Earth” is named Nick. Son of Carl Sagan one of the people who worked on the Golden Record.

For some reason I teared up watching this. There's something profoundly striking about sending a disk of greetings off into the great unknown that makes you feel like good days are surely, surely to come.

This small Voyager with its golden record could potentially outlast our and may in the long run be the only evidence that we ever existed. That Thought shoots a chill through my spine and a goose bump so severe that my hair follicles almost poke out.

Love you work John, you inspire me to look out into the universe with awe!

That's spooky and exciting, the golden records being out there. Maybe they won't be read or understood, but it's still our voice out there, a quiet message into the dark: "hello?"

I was 19 when the Voyagers launched. I'm 63 now. My dad worked on them as an electronic engineer, specializing in sound engineering, with a sub contractor for NASA. It's thrilling to me that his "voice" is still transmitting from beyond the solar system today.

When I die, I want to become a ghost, and visit all places of universe, for ever. You would never be bored, discovering many secrets and things you could not even imagine. I'm saying this as an agnostic: that would be my heaven.

The irony that this record would perhaps serve more purpose being listened to by those who sent it more than any alien race.

Hello World, peace to you.

Launched 45 years ago and only now we are truly letting it move on without us. Beautiful Voyager. The disk is eternal in my mind.
