Hello Mark, first of all thank you for your channel. He is so informative. My question relates to building wealth versus reducing debt. These currently bear interest at 2-3% interest. If my investment in the S+P 500 generates an average of 7% per year, doesn't it make sense not to make any additional repayments on the loan, but rather to increase the savings rates in the S+P 500?

The $35 a week numbers don’t work once you consider tax and inflation. It does however develop discipline and can assist with mindset improvements so still worth it. Number one is get educated, find mentors doing what you want to do successfully and understand your subconscious behaviour and behaviour patterns that don’t serve you and foster ones that will serve you. So. Much more but I feel this is the core. Best of luck 🙏

k, due to a shady financial advisor who promptly disappeared with my retirement savings, I had to start over at 48! I managed my own investments after that, and managed to get around 400k in 12 years. Thank goodness, because covid hit me hard and forced me into retirement. It isn't enough, but then I don't need much. While I was saving for my retirement, I was also paying off all of my debt. College for my kids, house, car, all paid for. I also invested 10k per year in keeping my house up to snuff. So what this guy says? yeah, do it. It could save you in the end. Now about those medical bills...

We are working hard to get where we need to be. Life definitely has other plans and we have a lot of mountains to climb. We are still here and working hard to get where we need to be. I have watched you from the start and I have been able to learn skills just by having a guide to help and motivate me. I wanna say thank you because with your video that one day, I just happened to be flipping through and needing that push and motivation helped so much. I started minimalism right at the same time I found your video and still workimg on it but have came along way. We have been working last 5 years on financial freedom and its hard especially having a family. Trust me though its worth it and if your struggling with it watch Gabe. For great motivation. Keep pushing you will get there.

Awesome advice 👍. For me I decided to put all my money (minus tithings) into my house to save interest. I know this is not the best way, but I hate debt. At 40 I have now paid off my house ($1.2M) and can now spend every bit of spare money investing from here on. I am not so much frugal living, I just try to be wise and purposeful with what I spend.

Great video. I’ll definitely work on investing part of my paycheck. Got some questions tho. What’s your take on MLM companies? Can you be a millionaire from them?

Is that savings account for people over 50? What about their 401k? We don’t keep much in savings but have quite a bit in our 401k. We do the 50-30-20 . Didn’t realize it was a thing but it definitely adds up!

50-30-20 ?? how ??? my rent alone is 65% of my income....without bills and food.... at the end of the month i basically live on pennies....i can't tell you how many times i brought a loaf of bread with my jar of pennies.... i don't think i will ever manage to "invest" in anything let alone real estate with the prices that we have now...each year is harder, and the god damn winter is here again to make things worst...
