Me: This is not a house cat, not a house cat, this is not a house cat
Little Caracal: *appeared on screen
Me : Damn it

Another theory on their ear tufts (and the one I think makes the most sense) is that they can use them to accurately determine wind direction so they can hunt *downwind from their prey.

"Why isn't it called a Caracal anymore?" "Scientifically it's called floppa now." <--yes he is correct.

It's surprising how relatively unknown cats like caracal, serval or jaguarandi are, despite their huge commonality.

Lord Floppa avoids picking a fight with the honey badger. Lord Floppa is wise beyond his ears.

One of the best channels to watch when you're a classic 2000's Animal Planet millennial and you don't feel like paying over $100 for cable.

And Serval’s best friend has been covered.

These cats are stunning, and I can’t blame that one for not having a go at the honey badger…smart choice.🖤🇨🇦

No matter the species, kitties are always extra cute.

I love this rare cat... seen it only once in the wild in Kenya 🇰🇪
I call it Africa's lynx.
Have always wondered what a cross with a serval would produce... they do practically the same niche and are almost the same cat like lions and tigers

When i was a wee ladsie, I had a Caracal fascination, and would watch the episode of Wild Kratts featuring them constantly because caracals are cool.
When the floppa meme came out, I was naturally overjoyed, and leapt for joy.

The "floppa" name really suits them.

Speaking of cats, I would like to see a feature on the cougar aka the mountain lion aka the puma aka the catamount aka the Largest of the Purring Cats.

Hey, Animalogic.

Awesome coverage of a beloved creature, yet again! As well, I'm very intrigued by who the composer for the video intro music might be. I'm an orchestrator and the score/backing track caught my ear! 💞

I remember when I first learnt about these and I found it so funny that they're literally just Caracal Caracal.
