Comedian Steve Hofstetter Gun Control

This is Part 5 of my video debunking a video from a comedian claiming he Defeated every Argument Against Gun Control. Here is my response to his arguments:

21- Steve argues an armed society is NOT a polite society
22 - Steve argues stopping a bad guy with a gun by having a good guy with a gun is a myth. Victims who were in possession of a gun during a crime were shot at four times the rate as people who were unarmed.
23 - Steve argues the first amendment isn't absolute and the second shouldn't be either.

... and if you haven't already make sure you go and watch parts 1-4

This "comedian" is the living personification of "I had an argument with myself and won."

Once again I say..
Imagine arguing to give yourself LESS rights.
The more I hear, the more I truly wonder if we are beyond a point of compromise.

It's pretty funny that he decided to compare Japan to the US, as if he deliberately ignores why they became more "polite" after WW2

0:42 Japan. Where the police can literally torture a confession out of you. Damn right they're fucking polite! 😂😂

As a cripple I dont have the luxury of running away. If someone means to do me harm I mean to stop them. its already illegal to murder someone and people still do it. there is no law you can pass that will legislate away evil.

3:00 "because sometimes people who mean well can be idiots." His demonstration of this is excellent! 😂

It always amazes me that people who benefit so much from the First Amendment don't hesitate to wipe their ass with the Second Amendment.

That comedian makes a great point as to why we need to bring back bullying. Hes the kind of guy who's never been in a bad situation, and would fold the moment things got real.

I’m going to petition my state government to outlaw fire extinguishers. Too many people don’t know how to use them properly. I’m addition, we have a fire department that’s highly trained for every type of fire.

"Sometimes people who mean well can be idiots." At least he got that right...with a personal example.

Just showing the gun has been factual in my experience. Literally this past weekend my GF and I were driving in MO and I was in the gas station and she was in the car. According to her while I was inside someone was checking out my car being shady. She then pulled my gun from the glove box, set it on the dash showing we were armed, then the guy quickly walked away. Obviously no police were called so this instance will be an “unreported” statistic but still a valid proof of the need

Japan is insanely racist. So is he arguing for extreme racism and the shunning of others? First we implement their immigration policy and make ourselves an island nation

Damn, Colion, you nailed it, as always. We protect our money in banks, a material item, with armed security guards, but our most precious asset, our children, we don't do the same for. Our kids deserve this. They really do deserve armed security in schools. We owe it to them. I want to see my kid come home at the end of the day.

Being polite? I've traveled a lot. I was a military brat and a veteran myself. I actually lived in Japan as well, and while they are, in general, nice and polite people, they also have their assholes. Just like everywhere else in the world..

Holy peckers. He thought “an armed society is a polite society” meant “bowing and saying thank you”??!? You can’t fix stupid.

He’s wrong right out of the gate. I’ve heard many people say how overly polite Americans are.

Its almost like criminals want to stop before they get shot
Because people tend to assume getting shot either hurts or is not beneficial to one’s health

What Criminals fear most, is Armed citizens. Same thing goes for Politicians.

What amazes me is that anti-gunners love to say “The 2nd Amendment is not absolute.” What they always forget is the last part of the 2nd Amendment as written: “Shall not be infringed.” Seems pretty absolute to me.
