I didn't see any whips. I just saw a bunch of people defy legal orders from border patrol agents while the agents swung their reins so as to obstruct the passageway. Actually I think they're not reins either. I think it's a lead rope. In any case the border patrol agents were making it clear that that the would-be immigrants were to turn back. If the would-be immigrants want to walk into a flailing piece of rope - that is on them.

I thought they were allowing people from Mexico and anyone that showed up at the border. This problem has been going on for some time now. Why is it a push all of a sudden to get rid of the Hatian people from the border? I would think with all that is going on on that country we would want to help them.
