When I first started watching Skins, I found this theme tune to be extremely nostalgic..despite never watching it before? o.0

I feel so nostalgic, anxious, sad, happy and depressed at the same time hearing this tune. Skins actually brought me so much comfort.

This show was so good because the characters were actually teens. Shows like riverdale just can’t stimulate that feeling.

There is yet to be another show that nailed the reckless, messy, anxiety driven fucked up nature of what it meant to be a teenager growing up. Surprisingly, I actually watched the first and second series as it was still ongoing in the UK, and looking back now, I realize why I connected so much with it. I was in a tailspin and losing myself like the main characters were, though I didn't realize it at the time.

It's crazy how listening to this simple theme song brings those memories and emotions just FLOODING back.
