Car smuggling | Some Limpopo residents worried over increasing hijackings

Residents of some villages in Niani outside Musina in Limpopo, along the border between South Africa and Zimbabwe, say they live in fear following numerous incidents of carjacking in the area.

Community members say car theft and hijackings have reached alarming levels.

Stock theft has also spiked in recent months.

According to police, the stolen vehicles and livestock are smuggled into Zimbabwe.
