Singapore is looking at an additional law to further protect people from online harms. It will be introduced this year, just months after a separate online safety bill was passed. The aim of the proposed Online Criminal Harms Act is to close the gap in existing laws, and give authorities enhanced powers to block access to harmful content on online communications services, including social media platforms.
