Weather plays a major part to what harvest you get. It’s been a rubbish year for weather. However you got a win cos you’ve got a harvest. They will be delicious. Fresh dug pots are wonderful 😻

Hi Ivan, heres a little tip from Terry King, put a toilet brush in a battery drill and with water wash those spuds, works with other veg as well, cheers Dave in not so sunny Monkseaton

Like ya said Ivan a bit is better than nothing, good little harvest. I harvest a cabbage last week & that was only small but enough for a dinner, very tasty too. Horrible weather here these past few days too. Thanks for sharing.

Apologies Ivan, not potato related but has anyone had a bad harvest of runner beans this year?
Normally there’s an abundance but I’ve been lucky to have had 3 lots. The leaves have disappeared completely and I’ve been left with dark pods 🤔

A couple of late plantings are still growing for me but the time is coming when I'll harvest them. Getting any meals from a pot in the yard saves me lugging spuds from the shop. And most of yours were clean and useable. Got to be a mini plus. Cheers.
