Insurgency: Sandstorm’s next free major content update Operation: Livewire is now available

Insurgency: Sandstorm, the smash-hit FPS from New World Interactive and Focus Entertainment, introduces the third major content update of its Year 2 Pass. Now available on PlayStation 4 and in enhanced versions on PlayStation 5, Operation: Livewire features free new content including a new game mode, new weapons and new character cosmetics. Introducing the exciting new game mode Defusal. Start the clock in Operation: Livewire by rigging and defending a bomb on a weapons cache as Insurgents, or shield and defuse the ticking threat as Security.

The premium content is available in the Livewire Set Bundle which can be downloaded for free by Year 2 Pass and Gold Edition owners as well as available to purchase separately.

I bought the PS4 version and will be playing that until the PS5 upgrade comes out. Either way it's one of the most realistic shooters I've ever played. This game is underrated, and in my opinion has only gotten better with recent updates.
