My DD is a Marine and that’s where I first heard the 100% apt description of “cannon fodder”. It begs the question if two reasons for limiting birth control and student grants is to supply 18 year old cannon fodder for the MIC & people just educated enough to follow directions and push the button for the lowest possible wages at domestic factories.

It’s been a requirement since the 1960s that all males in the US must register for the Draft. If you apply for federal student loans you’re draft registration status is checked and if you are not registered you are denied the loan and can face criminal prosecution for not registering for the Draft. So how exactly is automatic registration going to adversely affect people who are already required by law to register for the Draft?
