Good review, but not sure why so many reviewers always mention video or picture editing so much when taking about Chromebooks, suggesting that this is a concern for a lot of potential customers. I use the Pixelbook Go as my main laptop for work, not just casual browsing the internet, and it delivers on everything I need, working for a large corporation. Battery is outstanding and I can basically get 10 hours out of a charge, so it's easily a full days work without reaching for the charger. The core i5 fly's through everything I throw at it. I typically have 8-10 tabs open at any one time, a second screen monitor connected to a remote desktop. All run through the Pixelbook Go. I've had no issues at all. I'd highly recommend it.

Watching 4K videos on the Pixelbook Go actually looks better than native 1080P and is not a waste of bandwidth. It uses supersampling to make the video look sharper. Although it’s not as good as native 4K, it’s still better than just 1080p and I usually watch videos in 4K on my 1080P screen if it has the option. Cheers!

Have you tried updating it to the latest update and then doing a powerwash? that sometimes fixes wierd issues.

I'm not sure what machine this guy actually has in his hands but I can tell you that I am a super-nerd when it comes to laptops and I've been using this for 4 months it is one of the best laptops I've ever used on a side note when he says the speakers are sort of okay they are on par with the new MacBook or anything else for that matter

4 years later I'm watching this video on a Pixelbook I just bought and I love it. I'm not a heavy user. I use this for emails some light task and most of the time watching content.

Appreciate the review. My main concern is the screen brightness...any idea how bright it gets? I'm looking for at least 300 nits or better as my work office is a very bright environment. Thanks again.

I got a HP 15.6" touchscreen chromebook with a 8th gen intel i3 processor and 4gb ram for $300 black friday, it works nice and very fast for my needs. Might try duel booting linux on it
