I didn't know the anime version even existed. The first couple of live action episodes, I really wasn't sure if I would keep watching it. Then I really started getting into it, and suddenly I was at the end of season 1.

It felt a little weird for zoro to not have immediate loyalty to Luffy but I think the way they did it works better for live action

Sounds better with the original voice actors in the Japanese dub…but overall the story is really great and true to the beginning of one piece

honestly the artstyle scared me away from one peice but after seing the live action i whent right into watching the anime from the beginning im at water 7 now and taking a break so my neigbour can catch up from skypia and we can watch the rest together
