QUESTION:- OUT OF 25 CHILDREN IN A CLASS, 15 ARE GIRLS. WHAT IS THE PERCENTAGE OF GIRLS ?
ANSWER:- PERCENTAGE OF GIRLS
= 15/25 × 100 %
= 60 %
THEREFORE, PERCENTAGE OF GIRLS IN THE CLASS = 60 % .🥰

Question: In a quadrilateral ABCD <A=72° and < C is the supplementary of <A . The other two angles are 2x-10 and x+4. Find the value of X and measure of all the angle .

Solution: given, ABCD is a quadrilateral
<A=72, <C = supplementary of <A
=180°- <A
=180°-72°
=108°
Given, <B=2x-10
<D=x+4
Since <A+<B+<C+<D=360°
72°+2x-10+108°+x+4=360°
180°+3x-6=360°
174°+3x=360°
3x= 360°-174°
3x=186°
x=186/3 = 62°
x=62°
<B=2x-10
=2×62-10
=124-10
=114°
<D = x+4
=62+4
= 66°

HOMEWORK ANSWER: (example 19)
*not difficult*
Given: - Selling price of toy car = Rs. 540
Profit percent = 20%
Let the cost price of the toy be Rs. x.
Since the shopkeeper made a profit. Then,
Profit = Selling Price - Cost price
Substitute the values,
Profit = 540 - x
The formula of profit percent is given by,
Profit%=ProfitCostPrice×100
Substitute the values in the above formula,
⇒20=540−xx×100
Cross multiply the terms,
⇒20x=54000−100x
Move the variable part on the left side,
⇒120x=54000
Divide both sides by 120,
⇒x=450
Hence, the cost price of the car is Rs. 450..
