The Vampire Diaries' Season 6 Midseason Finale Recap!! (Episode 6x10)

Last night’s midseason finale episode of 'The Vampire Diaries' wasn’t exactly filled with holiday cheer all thanks to Kai. And yes, we do have to talk about that super heartbreaking moment.

Kicking it all off at #3: can we talk about how adorable those Christmas flashbacks with Elena, Bonnie and Caroline were? Can I squeeze myself into their friend group because they’re just too cute!

Coming in at #2: no surprise here – Kai is causing so much havoc in Mystic Falls. Sure, he was able to remove that border spell that we’ve been dealing with all season, but he’s ruining ALL of our Delena moments!

And our #1 moment from last night’s TVD – oh man guys, it’s hard to even talk about this one. We find out that Caroline’s mom is really, REALLY sick and might not make it.

Alright guys, it’s discussion time: Do you think Jo will be able to kill Kai during the merge? Is she really strong enough?! Also, I can’t help but wonder: when will Bonnie come back already?! Let me know your predictions!

I wish they had one more episode! But, Kai, like I said, just wanted to keep the twins alive for his benefit! 😂 I'm not really sure if Jo will win or not, but I want her too just for Alaric's sake! & I actually like that Liv character, but they never gave us a chance to get know her brother! I want to get to know him more. I guess the only good news is that they can all go back home! 😊 & I really wish they found a different way to kill off Caroline's mom (because that's what it seems like tryna do) because it's confusing, I mean vampire blood can cure so much, but not this? 😒 okaaay….

Wait.... Why can't they just use vampire blood to heal Caroline's mom? The Augustine vampires used their blood to heal sicknesses so why can't Caroline?

I just have a thought...could it be possible if Bonnie were to merge with Kai to then become the leader of the coven. Julie stated that bonnie comes back between episode 11 and 15 and that she comes back different. Because of Kai she was stuck in 1994 by herself and she deserves to have some revenge and to not only kill Kai but then become the leader of the coven would be awesome for Bonnie. Who is always on the sidelines or without the recognition she deserves for all that she does for every one. Have missed some episodes so don't know if that is possible or not but it would definitely be cool because Bonnie can so kick his A$$.

I don't think Jo will be able to do it be we will have to see. And I want bonnie back so bad. And tbh I am happy Kai blocked the Delena moment like they are boring now. Delena has just been getting worse.

I love this show so much!!! I just wish that Elena gets her memories back quickly and that Damon saves her from Kai. I personally don't think Jo can defeat Kai but we'll see. I really hope Bonnie gets back to present life like in the next couple of episodes. I feel like they have been making all this last longer than it's suppost to last. So they might not let Bonnie come back until like next season. But no matter what they do, I still love this show soo much and I'm not gonna stop loving I'm soo thankful to the people that make this show better each episode!!! I really hope that Nina and Ian dont do anything stupid to cancel the show. And I do hope they could get back together in real life because you can see that they still feel something for each other from the look in their eyes in the show when they have romantic scenes together. I feel like I wrote too much but oh well it was nice stating my feelings.

I love Kai in it, delena will more likely have their moment after Damon saves her yet again. I hope its Liv and Luke will merge and not Kai and Jo because i like both of them and i don't care to much about the other to. Felt so bad for Caroline but they still might find away to save her but i glad Stefan was there for her. I just really want Bonnie to come back..

I think jo will die she's definitely not powerful enough now that Kai has the travellers magic but then again there is no reason for Kai to live because nobody really wants to see him killing his coven it makes no sense I'm confused and I really hope elenas feelings for Damon are coming back I love Damon
