the song is all about a toxic relationship where one person asks for something then the other provides only to have no answer as to why what they did was wrong and at the end the person who gave the peppermint asks "am i sleeping on the couch?" which shows that even though they dont know what they did wrong they are still getting punished for it by having to sleep on the couch and this is the first fan made video ive seen that actually shows the toxicity
