Tottenham have had a rollercoaster of a week - a Premier League (PL) to Crystal Palace saw them then beat Pep Guardiola's Manchester City and with Aston Villa this weekend for Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - anything could happen.

And this week more and more pundits and people in football are talking about Tottenham - and the trophy chat has risen up again (especially on if we can win the Europa League - So on this video I will be reacting to these debates and giving my thoughts on them!

Let me know if you agree?

The video includes:

The Overlap - Stick to Football - Gary Neville, Jill Scott, Roy Keane, Jamie Carragher, Paul Scholes, Ian Wright & Glenn Hoddle.

Tottenham Hotspur have not been quite as active in the transfer window this summer - only signing Archie Gray from Leeds United and Yang Min-hyuk from Gangwon FC, Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth and Wilson Odobert from Burnley - but over the last few years under Ange Postecoglou Spurs have been building a top youth side.

With the help of Daniel Levy, Scott Munn, Johan Lange and Fabio Paratici Spurs have lowered the average age of the squad to 25.

The Premier League is heating up with Arsenal, Aston Villa, Brentford, Brighton and Hove Albion, Bournemouth, Burnley, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Everton, Fulham, Liverpool, Luton Town, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield United, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Wolves aka Wolverhampton Wanderers, Ipswich Town, Southampton and Leicester City.

The former Celtic, Yokohama F. Marinos, Brisbane Roar and Melbourne Victory coach Ange Postecoglou and his Tottenham squad include Guglielmo Vicario, Pedro Porro, Cristian Romero, Destiny Udogie, Emerson Royal, Yves Bissouma, Pierre-Emile Hojberg, Dejan Kulusevski, Bryan Gil, Brennan Johnson, Son Heung-Min (손흥민) Richarlison, Pape Matar Sarr, Jamie Donley, Alfie Dorrington, Ashley Phillips, Oliver Skipp, Rodrigo Bentancur, Sergio Reguilon, Djed Spence, Ryan Sessegnon, Micky van de Ven, Timo Werner, Radu Dragusin, James Maddison and Dane Scarlett, Manor Solomon, Alejo Veliz, Giovani Lo Celso, Ben Davies, Fraser Forster, Brandon Austin, Alfie Whiteman, Ivan Perisic, Eric Dier, Japhet Tanganga, Tanguy Ndombele, Joe Rodon, Lucas Bergvall, Mikey Moore, Archie Gray, Yang Min-hyuk, Wilson Odobert, Dominic Solanke and Luka Vuskovic.

If they're building a 10 storey block of flats across the street, how many days into the build do you complain that its not finished?

It’s pretty obvious despite how it all may play out that the owner, club and manager are having a crack. Talking about the past won’t help or solve anything now. Getting better, which is happening, winning cups, which Spurs are in the hunt for… building academy prospects, which is happening… no one could say with Ange ‘football doesn’t come first’

Patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting. Trust in the plan

Everyone talks too much shit, including the so called fans (most desperate fans in the prem).
Let the team grow into something formidable and competitive

Jose had lost the dressing room months before he was sacked. People forget the godawful football we were playing. We had lost to a 3-0 Dinamo Zagreb team in the Conference League whose manager was in jail. We were constantly playing 80 minutes of defending in a low block and 10+ minutes of chasing the game. It was terrible to watch and the results were not there. Conte gave up on us in his second season, albeit amidst personal turmoil due to deaths of two people very close to him and a serious illness. Personally, I want us to play Ange’s way and build our team over time to have the capability to WIN playing Ange ball. It takes time, we’ve come further than our current results show. Have faith!

Glenn Hoddle is quite right that "to do is to dare" doesn't mean much, if anything, but the actual Spurs motto is "To Dare Is To Do" (Audeat Est Facere) and that makes a lot more sense. Of course Hoddle once said that disabled people were receiving karma for the sins of their past lives, so he's not exactly the most reliable authority on anything other than playing football.

Glen Hoddle epitomised the 'To Dare is To Do' attitude as a player. Btw, we won 2 FA Cups, a Europa League and got to another Cup final in the space of 4 seasons with that attitude.

Yes Hoddle is, sacking Jose before a cup final was UNFORGIVABLE

I remember the days we were considered a Cup team. (We were the most successful FA Cup team back in the day. I'm still not over losing the 1987 final lol... the year Clive Allen was flying.)

How can Hoddle not know the Spurs motto??? It’s NOT To Do is to Dare! It’s To Dare is to Do! Audere Est Facere. There is a difference.

I would agree with Ange, if you don’t want to win everything you will win nothing, does Ange think he will win everything? I would guess no but it’s the right mentality to have.
Glenn is a god and talks sense, Jamie is imo an idiot and not worth listening to.

I don't understand this "what competition would you rather win" question. As ange said, we aim to win as many games as possible and see what happens.

The talksport bit is a snapshot of the mindset many supporters hold. They look too much through the prism of what others are saying about them. It seems to create this short term/shortcut mentality in order to get a trophy. Never mind that it will do the opposite and set any kind of sustainable success further away. Those supporters of other clubs will still look and laugh at spurs lack of trophies even if spurs win one. O'Hara reckons Ange is under pressure? Well duh!! Of course he is, but his job is far from 'on the line'. Levy has a Manager that doesn't demand hundred million Euro players and he's got a young squad that can match it with the best and it's a great unique attacking style to watch. Ange aint leaving soon unless they have a really horrible run of losses, which I can't see happening.
Thanks for listening to my TED talk.

Hoddle was a great player he did actually manage the club too and didn't do as well as others. It's all well and good saying this and that, but it's all talk. There are clubs that have had more money and then Chelsea and Man City came in with unlimited backers. They need to be smart like they were with Poch but fully back it and keep it going and then you can build a team that can really go all the way and sustain. But it's far from easy and you have to do it the right way and in a sustainable manner.

Lol. Christ it aint rocket science. Spend shit piles of money like Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City and we'll win stuff. Those clubs didnt win things because of their style or bloody club motto lol.

Theres multiple answers one is failure to build the squad with players we actually needed and another is also failure in replacing our best players when they left, which in turn then dropped the quality throughout the squad
