Randy Moss is just a couple years older than me, and grew up about 30 minutes away from where I live in West Virginia. I know several people who were friends with him growing up. I remember all the hype back in the late 90's when one of our locals was on his way to the NFL. Who knew he would go on to become one of the greats of the game?

Randy's last year in College at Marshall he had over 1, 800 yards and 26 TD's.

Randy Moss is from my home state of West Virginia. I loved watching the freak from his marshal days to end of career. He was the man.

7:40 Once you made a forward pass from behind the line of scrimmage, you can only pass backwards.

Yes he was taller, faster, vertical & had hands but randy moss coming from small town Rand, West Virginia then playing college at small Non-power 5 school Marshall U. He earned everything nothing was given to him since day 1.

#64 Randall McDaniel was a first ballot Hall Of Fame inductee at GUARD. He was credited with missing zero assignments for 3 seasons, weird, unorthodox stance and all, likely the best GUARD ever.
John Randle on the DEFENSE.
Do his ultimate mix tape, a walk on with a motor and mouth that never stopped.
First one there, last one to leave, grew up dirt poor, knew every person at the Metrodome by name, janitors, concessions, he made a point to do that, .
The Dolphins tried to woo him away during his Free Agency season, they flew him to Miami, took him to South Beach hitting the clubs....he hated it.
He called the team "can you send a plane and make an offer".
A real one.
The 1998 Vikings should've won it all, they were incredible.
Big Korey Stringer went down and his presence and ability was so lost...they came throug.
Where we watch the games, VALHALLA since the Sunday Ticket started, is purple floor, halfway up the walls, purple, Viking yellow the top half.
The Ceiling is checkerboard purple n white, yellow trim, memorabilia, TWO AUTOGRAPHED MOSS BALLS! among many others, Denny Green signed photo...for living in Holland Indiana, we got some killer Viking Viking shit.
We toast before every game "this is the blood of the Packers (opponent thatt week and fuck the Packers) they don't need it because they're already fucking dead" for more than 20 years lol.
Do John Randle A Football Life or any mistake.
Do Rand University for the definitive Randy Moss.

Moss is the most gifted wide receiver of all time. Physically, no one was better. If Moss's career lasted as long as Jerry Rice's career, he would have surpassed Rice in every category.

Thirteen minutes forty nine seconds.
You can see that Randy Moss also played the The Titans.

Another great WR during that era who was right up there with Randy Moss is Terrell Owens. 15, 934 career receiving yards. He and Moss were both known to be hard to work with, but probably T.O. more. His touchdown celebrations were flamboyant and spicy, and he was commonly penalized for them. You should do a reaction to his highlights.

Another Terrell you should look at for a reaction video is the great Broncos RB Terrell Davis. His career was cut a little short due to injuries, but he is a hall-of-famer, and he holds the NFL record for most post-season TDs with 8, and is the only NFL player to have 2000+ rushing yards with 20+ touchdowns.

They still use that term "Mossed" even today, years after he retired. He was incredible. Definitely top 2 in my eyes.

12:38 No, because he was becoming expensive to keep, New England is notorious for being skint. The team never entered talks with him about the extension and requested a trade.

Randy Moss is the greatest receiver ever.. there’s really nothing to debate..

12:51 His second stint with the Vikings fell out because he felt Brad Childress was "incapable of coaching". Moss was waived on November 2, 2010, Childress was fired 20 days later.
12:54 He did play for the Titans for 8 games after that, but retired for a year.
13:32 That was after Alex Smith was concussed, which was when we finally saw Colin Kaepernick. They had played in that year's Super Bowl, but lost to the Ravens.

I work in education and even today on elementary school playgrounds (primary school) you hear kids talking about how they will "Moss" each other. He was just that good!!

two Super Bowl Rings
Moss made two Super Bowl appearances – Super Bowl XLII with the New England Patriots and XLVII with the San Francisco 49ers. Moss caught 10 or more touchdown passes in nine seasons and had 10 seasons with 1, 000 yards receiving

Randy Moss will forever be one of the reasons I stay mad at Jerry Jones. Randy Moss was so freakin good… he was absolutely hilarious too. Some people took all him as cocky or arrogant, but he wasn’t. He just knew he was that good. “84 don’t stretch, 84 comes ready to play.” No lies detected. Like, physically, I don’t know if I’ve seen someone who looked more like he was born to be a receiver. Not only was he tall, It’s Iike his legs and arms were out of proportion long or something, lol. He had huge hands. He could catch anything and he was fast af.

He had division 1 college scholarship offers in both basketball and football and Jason "White Chocolate" Williams was his highschool point guard

To answer your question about Super Bowl rings, Moss has appeared in 2 Super Bowls, but on losing team both times. One of those losses he was with the San Francisco 49ers, the same team Jerry Rice won 3 Super Bowl rings with.

Moss was the perfect combination of jumping ability, agility, speed, and size. No defensive backs had his height and reach, few had his speed or jumping ability. For Defensive Backs it was like bringing a knife to a gun fight.
