...You know, weirdly, this makes me feel more comfortable and confident that Nomura still cares about this series. If he can go through THIS many cancellations over the years, and STILL keep going at the series until the end, then I gotta say, I'm impressed he hasn't gotten exhausted yet...well, not as exhausted as I originally thought anyway, no doubt the man is tired these days in some way.

I think Verum Rex game will still happen. That situation sounds more like Nomura decided to focus on KH4 first but that the Verum Rex game was still in the pocket. Once KH4 gets us used to Yozora, we’ll probably get a Verum Rex game where we play as him. Similar to Roxas and KH2 and KHDays

FINALLY someone who knows that it wasn't Disney who vetoed the idea for KH Dissidia, but Nomura/Square making the choice preemptively!

You forgot the original Birth By sleep 0.2 that was teased at the end of the secret episode of BBS. It kinda got retuled into A Fragmentary Passage in the 2.8 collection. But it is clear the original 0.2 was supposed to be a very different game.

I'm just waiting for Kingdom Hearts Warriors. KH3 was basically proof of concept with all of the crazy mass attack stuff they had going on, not to mention the Million battle towards the end. With the overwhelming quantity of AoE attacks and magic across all the games, the movesets would be pretty easy to put together.

They could still make a KH fighter like Dissidia. Just make the Disney chars to summons and the KH characters to fighters

The part where you mentioned Missing link ages so well. It is DEFINITELY the missing link between Kingdom Hearts 3 and Kingdom Hearts 4.

There's Kingdom Hearest that was announced in a Game Informer. More information was suppose to be released in 2010. Lastly, there's Birth By Sleep 2 which was ultimately cancelled and is now 0.2 Fragment Passage.

Im so glad he didn’t get to make verum Rex cuz we all know that would have tied into kingdom hearts at the last possible second
