Love that you joined bike riding. Great advice for how to bike to work and still look good.

Not a sweatpants fan but I 100% agree with you on joggers. A few years ago I wouldn't go near them, hated the things but since I got a couple of pairs last year I absolutely love them. Perfect for wearing around the house but not looking too sloppy and even driving for driving longer journeys or taking the car somewhere where you don't need to be out for too long, like popping out for petrol (gas) etc.

I've had a similar thing with sweatshirts. I was a kid in the 90s and they just remind me of the awful sweatshirts that were available and that I used to wear as a child and also of school uniform. They seem to have made a comeback and I think I will be taking plunge after resisting them for a while cos I want an alternative to a jumper (sweater) or general knitwear that I can throw on with a jacket.

EDIT: I still can't get on board with cargo pants, or "combats" as we used to call them. Again, they remind me of being a kid/teenager and, looking back, they were awful. Loads of needless pockets and far too baggy, particularly if you are very slim! They are ideal for hiking but that's about it. Joggers yes, but I've got to draw the line somewhere! :-D

I love stretch denim. They are so comfortable. Every pair of jeans I have now have at least 1% spandex in it to give it some type of stretch.

I own every pair of trousers mentioned except the joggers. They’re not really my style. I love my stretch jeans from Goodfellow. I’m going to try a pair from your sponsor too.

I was absolutely hated joggers when they first started become popular. Especially joggers that were supposed to be like normal pants. But then I saw cashmere joggers. Then I saw some of the casual jogger suits that purple label Ralph Lauren was making. The sage green or Inverness loden cashmere or wool joggers with matching sports coat with patch pockets and sometimes suede or felt. Man, throw a turtle neck or polo sweater under it and it looks like a trillion bucks. Probably my favorite casual outfit ever designed. If only I had an extra 5k dollars to buy it.

I found that a high quality silk under layment works better than the lined jeans which just seem to bulky for me in cold weather.

I appreciate this so much! The only pants I own are jeans and I want to change that up but have no idea what to get. This helped tremendously. Thank you so much!

I totally agree. Stretch fabric is innovative and very comfort.
But I doubt about Denim jeans this day. Why do we still wear that blueish thing.
Do we dig Gold? Do we work at ranch? You mom buy it for you to wear, so you still wear Jeans.

I wish that textile companies would research more into alternate weave patterns to add stretch to jeans or trousers. It also doesn’t seem like there are ever any new natural fibers being used. Surely we haven’t tried every single type of natural fiber out there. Surely there is some plant, animal fur, or byproduct that hasn’t been tried yet. Would be cool to have a natural fiber that was stretchy like spandex and doesn’t melt.

-I love jeans with some stretch, found this brand called "Vanguard" and fell in love with it. Not sure if it exists in America however.

-I love modern sweatpants. No clue what else to say... They're great, and more people should own them.

-Joggers though, bought one pair about 6 years ago, and wore them maybe 5 times... Needless to say, not a fan. I'm not against them, they're just nothing for me.
Seen some that look like slacks, may give them another go.

-The many pockets in the cargo pants are incredibly useful, I do own them for when I go on a hiking trip or do some DIY stuff, but in my opinion you lose quite some style points and not a fan of the way the fabric feels personally.

-Never heard of or seen weather resistant pants, but they look good and it rains a lot here, so might check 'm out.
