Epic Brought Mythic Chests Back

These chests were actually in last season, but there was a bug that caused them to look like normal ones. They would play the different sound, show up differently when using the “visualize sounds” setting, and would give normal epic chest loot, but they were accidentally (I think it was an accident) disguised as normal ones.

They never removed them, there was only a bug that made them look and sound like normal chests, you could differentiate them with the "vizualize sound effects" option

I think they didin't just readded them, but also increased their spawn rate, im legit finding one each match

a fun fact, the mythic chests were there in season 8 also, but the loot found in mythic chests were put to normal chests, thats why whenever u got legendary and epic loot with 3 big pots or 3 medkits or 6 minis, that was actually the loot from a mythic chests cause normal chests cannot drop more than 1 big pot or medkit or 6 minis

there were some last season you could only tell if it was one with visulise sound affects because there was a bug where it looks like a normal one

They were already in the game the only thing was that it looked like a normel chest if u looked at it with visual sound effects then u could see that its a mithic chest

Mythic chest never left. They had a bug texture last season which made them appear as normal chests. I know this because I have "Visualize Sound Effects" on.

They didn’t re-add them they just brought the texture back if you had visual sound effects on you could tell if it was a mythic chest or not

fun fact they never removed the rare chests they just removed the textures, if you used visualized sound effects near a chest it would be the old rare chest icon
