LG G5 Cam Plus and Hi-Fi Plus modules - Review

The LG G5 is the company's flagship smartphone and also one of the first modular smartphones on the market. You can remove the bottom of the phone and swap it out with two different modules. One is a Cam Plus, an attachment that provides some added manual camera controls and added battery capacity. The other is the Hi-Fi Plus, a Hi-res audio module that's powered by Bang & Olufsen.

I'm debating what phone to get, so I have a question. I'm in the US, and they're not releasing this DAC here. If I buy this phone unlocked and import the Hi-Fi plus, will it work, or is it region-locked? If it is, then I'd go for the HTC 10 or maybe wait for this year's Nexus.

when using hifi module fm radio wont work, battery drains quickly and usb OTG function is disabled..fuuuck what a drag.

This was the last straw for me with lg.
You advertise a modular phone then dont release any of the useful ones after the phone comes out.
Was really disappointing, almost as disappointing as the terrible software issues. Lg phones just are just not worth it.

that double camera button is for autofocus, the firsr stage of the pressing is autofocus like every other camera in the world . you dont know what you are talking about in most of the review :))

Doesn't work with the FM radio!   Other than that it does sound better than the standard audio but FM is my main source for music on my phone so bitterly disappointed.  Only saving grace is that I bought from a Hong Kong retailer one third of the ludicrous UK price of £150!!!
